About Us
Dr. Green
Dr. Green is a surgeon, educator, and author of many professional publications. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery as well as the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is fellowship trained in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is double board certified specifically to perform Facial Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery, as well as the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In addition to these accomplishments, Dr. Green served in many roles over two decades in the US Navy: Assistant Professor, Associate Program Director and Educator for the US Navy in the fields of complex facial reconstruction for our nations wounded warriors and other service members as well as veterans with Head and Neck Cancer. He has Cosmetic Surgery Procedures Certification from the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Health Professions.
Dr. Green lectures both domestically and internationally with previous trips to China as well as Australia, and Saudi Arabia. He has presented at dozens of meetings, written multiple articles and book chapters. He has previously held academic appointments at Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, University of Miami – Miller School of Medicine and Naval Medical Center Portsmouth.
Education And Residency
Dr. Green received his education from several institutions of higher learning including: The United States Naval Academy, University of Mississippi, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, Louisiana State University Health Science Center, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and the University of Miami-Miller School of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Green played Division I Football while at USNA, won 3 Commander In Chief trophies and 2 Bowl Championships. Dr. Green has received numerous awards including ESPN The Magazine Regional First-Team Academic All American, Jeffrey R. Korn Memorial Scholar-Athlete Award, Cmdr. Ralph Sentmann Award, Academy of Dentistry International: Terry Tanaka Student Humanitarian of the Year, AAOMS Dental Student Achievement Award, and Runner up for the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery: Laskin Award for Excellence in Journalism.
Interests
Aside from his professional life Dr. Green loves spending time with his wife Nicole and four children Savannah, John Marshall, Sadie, and Johnathan. Dr. Green has committed much of his time to international missions including travel to India, Peru, Guatemala, and Mexico as well as mobile free clinics here in the US. In addition, faith is a very important part of Dr. Green’s life. He completed a Masters of Divinity at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in May of 2024, and serves the local faith community in a pulpit fill ministry run by Liberty University.

Tara Books, NP
Tara is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a diverse clinical background and a passion for helping patients look and feel their best. She earned her Health Sciences degree from James Madison University, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University. She later advanced her education by obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University.
Tara has a true passion for aesthetics and enjoys providing wellness-focused services to promote her patients’ overall well-being. Her aesthetic experience includes injectable treatments, CoolSculpting procedures, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. She is dedicated to continuous learning and providing personalized treatment that helps patients feel confident and supports their health and wellness goals.
Christi Siler, RN, CANS
Christi Siler, RN, CANS joined the Numa Spa team in 2014 and brings over 25 years of experience in aesthetic medicine to her patients. A Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist, Christi is highly skilled in advanced injectable and laser treatments, specializing in neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and spider vein treatment.
An accomplished sclerotherapist, Christi has also served as a keynote speaker at the Mid-Atlantic’s “Current Concepts in Vascular Therapies” Conference, sharing her expertise with fellow medical professionals.
Christi loves to learn and is passionate about helping patients feel confident while maintaining results that are balanced, subtle, and never overdone.
Darlene Jennings, LMA
Darlene is a Licensed Master Aesthetician with more than 30 years of experience in aesthetic skincare. Darlene played a key role in establishing Numa Spa in 2012 and currently serves as the spa’s manager, overseeing its operations and continued growth. She is certified in hair laser removal, IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), Radio Frequency skin tightening and body contouring and is Master certified in Cool Sculpting. She also specializes in facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling, HydraFacial, radio frequency microneedling, and laser services. Darlene maintains her commitment to staying current on all aspects of aesthetic skin care and products. She delivers personalized care, based upon her wealth of experience, by developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient’s individual needs and goals.
Irina Hotin, LME
Irina Hotin, LME has been a Licensed Esthetician since 2014. She enjoys providing skin care solutions that heighten the beauty of each patient, while promoting healthy, radiant skin. Her favorite services include microneedling, laser hair removal, IPL, and Hydrafacial. Known for her gentle touch and attention to detail, Irina takes great pride in delivering personalized treatments that accentuate each client’s natural beauty.
Dr Kenneth Ortiz, MD
Medical Director
Dr Kenneth Ortiz serves as the Medical Director for Numa Spa. As the Medical Director he both oversees and supervises the aesthetic care of our patients. Dr Ortiz is a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and has a long history of providing outstanding Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery care. We are so thrilled to have Dr Ortiz as part of the Numa Spa family!
